Arrival in Islamabad followed by a journey north via the Karakoram Highway to Skardu or Gilgit. Initial trek toward the base camp of the chosen peak.
Set up base camp at the foot of the mountain. Begin 'climb high, sleep low' acclimatization walks with local guides.
A midnight or dawn start. Navigate glaciers and snow slopes using crampons and ice axes to reach the summit for panoramic Karakoram views.
Final descent from the mountain, returning to base camp and trekking back to the road head for the return journey to Islamabad.
Note: Itineraries vary by peak selection. 6,000m objectives typically require longer acclimatization periods compared to 5,000m trekking peaks.
